Rutina Wesley is one of our favorites. We first got to know her as Tara Thorton, a young waitress turned vampire on the HBO series, True Blood.  More recently, she stars as Nova Bordelon, a delightfully complex sugar farmer on OWN’s Queen Sugar.  We love the actress not only for her superb acting but her gorgeous onscreen and red carpet looks. Her gorgeous chocolate complexion always steals the show. When Nova is not wearing her locs in all their face-framing flair, they’re elegantly swept into a headwrap, giving her a look befitting the queen title. We’re looking forward to seeing more of her style and skills in season two.
